Vehicle Description
The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle was billed as "Americas most popular
mid-size car." It had only minor changes for 1969, which were
mainly to the front-end styling. Delivered from GM with a 307ci
engine with a Powerglide transmission, this Chevelle Malibu has
been transformed with a 350ci ZZ4 crate engine mated to an M20
4-speed and posi-traction rear end. This car also features upgraded
power front disc brakes and power steering. During the
transformation the interior was also refreshed. At the time of the
engine transplant, which was approximately 16,000 miles ago, the
frame was cleaned, treated with POR15 rust arrester and painted.
Originally from Oregon, this was a clean straight car to upgrade.
The Azure Turquoise base coat/clear coat presents very well, as
does the turquoise interior. Riding on BFGoodrich radial T/A tires
on American Racing wheels, this Chevelle runs and looks fantastic.
