This El Camino SS is powered by a non-original 396/325hp engine
detailed and brought to stock specs mated to rebuilt, stock
automatic transmission. The wiring has been corrected, and new
sound-deadening Dynamat carpet was installed. The rear bed storage
area was blasted to bare metal and painted. A new storage insert
behind the driver's seat was also installed. All trim was removed
before sanding and blocking the existing body, which was primed
with Dupont high-end primer, block sanded and primed again with
another three coats, then blocked and sealed prior to applying
three to four coats of Dupont Chroma base and Dupont ChromaClear
