Vehicle Description
This International Scout 800A spent most of its working life on a
farm in rural Alabama. It was restored about six years ago, and is
currently driven several times a week. There was very little rust
on this truck originally, but whatever rust that was present was
removed and repaired. There are two new poly fuel tanks, with new
fuel lines and filler necks. The front windshield was replaced
along with the rubber seal that holds it in place. The door window
seals are also new along with the rubber door seals. It also has
new brake linings as well as cylinders and drums all around with
lines where needed. The original bench seat has been reupholstered.
All mechanical and electric components and wiring were gone through
and replaced or repaired as needed. This Scout 800A was restored to
be a reliable and fun driver. The paint was done in the original
OEM Tahitian Yellow color with corresponding interior dash and
floor to match. It's equipped with the original Comanche 196ci
4-cylinder engine with 3-speed manual transmission.
