1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray finished in Silver Pearl over
Black Leather interior. This Corvette is the real deal! Having gone
through a COMPLETE FRAME OFF restoration, not a single dollar was
spared in returning this American classic into its original
showroom condition. Every single part on the car is either new or
rebuilt! The original owner bought the car brand new at Jack Wall
Chevrolet in Pasadena, CA and owned the car for more than 40 years
until the latest owner purchased it from him and began the
restoration. It has ONLY 56k ORIGINAL miles and has only been
driven 1500 miles since the restoration. The documentation of the
restoration is extensive, and photos of the entire process were
taken (paint/interior/part numbers) as well saving all of the
receipts.
Born on April 12, 1965, only 8,186 Corvettes were built for that
year. Coming with the rare telescoping steering column which was
the first year that it was offered, the other factory options
included; inside no-glare mirror, back up lamps, PB AM/FM radio,
tinted glass, Silver Pearl, positraction rear axle, and the 327 V8
Turbo Fire motor. The drivetrain is completely numbers matching
with the 300hp 327 V8 and the Muncie wide-ration 4-speed manual and
has a 3.36 rear-end. It retains its original color of Silver Pearl,
black interior, and original Soft Ray tinted glass.
This Corvette comes with every single document since new including
every service receipt, the original window sticker, original
owner's guide with warranty book & protecto-plate, original bill of
sale, original deposit form, original black plates, the original
pre-delivery inspection sheet, the original owner's kit from
Chevrolet. This car has been validated by the National Corvette
Restoration Society with documentation.
This car is quite possibly the most documented and nicest example
of the 1965 Corvette Stingray on the planet. A true collector piece
that will only go up in value.
