This car was my grandfather's and was garage kept until a
year ago when I had it towed from Virginia to Maryland. The
odometer reads 10,000 but the numbers do not click over so this is
most likely not the accurate number of miles. My grandfather
purchased this car from the original owner approximately 25 years
ago. In the 25 years my grandfather had the car he kept it in a
garage and drove it around the neighborhood. I recently replaced
the radiator and brake booster, the muffler, and the ballast
resistor (for the ignition). I had it professionally cleaned. The
soft top of the convertible was replaced in 1995. The car was
re-upholstered in the 90's also.
The car has a few small issues- the gas gauge does not work (but is
an easy fix); the passenger seat belt needs to be replaced, there
is a tear in the upholstery on the driver and passenger side doors.
The brake booster was replaced, but there may need to be some
additional brake work. (You can definitely test drive the car- the
brakes are just a little less sensitive). The odometer does not
indicate a change in numbers, so it states 10,000. I'm not sure of
the actual amount of miles the car has on it. I've had my car shop
look everything over, and they have road-tested the car. I have
also driven it recently.
