Corvettes and we are proud to present this awesome 1986 Corvette
Convertible. As we all know our Corvette history, this was the Indy
500 Pace car in 1986 and was the firs Convertible Corvette since
1975. This was a very big year for the vette. This one has been
extremely well maintained and has had a ton of maintenance over the
years to keep things in tip top shape. Outside of that, this car is
original and presents very well for a 31 year old car and it needs
to be in your garage today.
Under the hood sits the original 5.7 Liter motor this car was born
with that puts out 230 HP. This car runs in tip top shape with a
new fuel pump, strainer, and filer. There has also been a new water
pump installed and all the tune up goodies like new plugs, wires,
and pvc. This is just a few things that have been done to keep this
vette at the top of its game. This motor is mated to its original
automatic transmission and then all of those 230 horses goes out
the stock rear end.
Now that you are just drooling over this car, open that door and
slide in to the original and very well appointed interior.
Everything is in great shape here as well. The dash lights have
been replaced so no worries there. You will see in the pics that
everything lights up bright. The black top has been replaced as
well and looks beautiful when it is up, but we all know that the
most fun driving on this car is when you have the top down and the
wind in your face.
There are so many things that have been replaced on this car it
would take all of our space to tell you about them. You just have
to see this car for yourself. With only around 1900 miles a year
put on this car, there is still a ton of life left in this beauty
to be enjoyed for years to come.
