convertible. This 1952 MG is the real deal and is not a kit car
(Car# 14414 Body# 13775 / 83480 Engine# XPAG / TD2 / 14661 Engine).
MG (Morris Garage) is an English automotive marque registered by
the now defunct MG Car Company Limited, the sports car manufacturer
began in the 1920s and is best known for its two-seater open sports
cars & coupes. This 1952 MG TD is an excellent example of a true
British classic sports car that exudes class & luxury. This 3-owner
car has been kept in excellent condition over the years with some
very nice restoration items that keep this car look as good as it
did back in 1952. The car is all original excluding a professional
repaint back in 2002. The car features its original numbers
matching 1250cc (76 CID) 55HP 4-cylinder engine that runs very
strong & balanced. The engine has some additional goodies on it
including polished 1-1/2" SU carburetors, Crane camshaft, it has
been bored over .0020 with racing pistons, chrome air cleaners,
Isky valve springs, aluminum pulleys, serpentine drive belt,
electronic ignition, & a ceramic wrapped exhaust manifold. The
exterior of the TD is in excellent condition with the 17 year old
cr�me colored paint job that is still showing very well, our
pictures do not do it justice. All of the exterior chrome trim,
bumpers, & bezels are all in remarkable quality. The folding canvas
soft top is in excellent condition (including the frame) and goes
up & down with ease. The rear chrome luggage rack with spare tire
is the perfect functional addition that looks great on the car as
well. Besides the high quality of condition of the car this MG TD
also has a very desirable option package that includes wind wings,
side curtains with frames, chrome radiator shell w/ functioning
louvers, & driving lights. Looking towards the interior the car
features green leather interior with color matched piping on the
door panels & seats that are all in great condition. The wood dash
is almost in like new condition as well, free from any cracks or
warping. All of the gauges shown in classic white are all in
working order & great condition. The car sits on the original
15-inch steel wheels with the chrome trim rings. The fit & finish
on this car is unparalleled in the MG market. This is a true time
