I love original cars, with low miles, without rust and with working options. This car is wearing its original paint, sporting a very nice original vinyl top and welcoming you to an interior that is original and in great shape. It spent its life in North Dakota and has only been driven 44,000 miles!
This car has allot of power options, including power windows and locks, seats, trunk release and antenna. They all work except for the antenna. The cruise control and climate control work, and the A/C has been converted to 134a. The headlights are auto-dimming.
The AM/FM stereo/8 track works great. The sound is very pleasant. There is a rear defogger. The steering column is both telescopic and tilting.
The dash is perfect as is the headliner. The carpet and seats just show minimal wear. But they are completely original. They look wonderful.
The mechanicals are well-maintained. The transmission was recently rebuilt. The belts, hoses, brakes and exhaust system were all replaced.
The 472 starts and runs well. It is a torque-monster! I was recently cruising the freeway on cruise. I decided to kick it down and soon noticed the speedometer sitting at 95!
Radial tires, power steering and brakes and the big luxurious ride make for nice driving. Nothing beats a Cadillac ride.
The body is not rusty. It is still wearing its original paint. The paint is thin and there are a few spots along the side moldings where it is absent. yet there is no rust-through on this car.
The chrome and thin are original and showing some dullness. Still very presentable and fine for an inexpensive driver quality Cadillac.
