Vehicle Description
A classic 1974 Ford Bronco rendered in a standout modern supercar
color is exactly the right attitude for this one. After all, this
full custom build mixes the legendary 4x4 prowess with modern
comforts like A/C. Best of all, this enhanced V8 machine is still
looking its boldest on and off road because it that has less than
1,500 miles on the total build.
There were some shades of orange available from the factory in '74,
but none of them looked as good as this. Instead, a bold
application of Lamborghini Orange was applied in 2013 that is
absolutely stunning when rolled out into the sun - exactly where a
go-anywhere Bronco belongs! And the most robust parts of this build
also reveal its dark side. Black tubular step rails, dark side
exhaust tips, and swing-away rear bumper are both aggressive and
functional. Plus, the black tubular front bumper holds the KC
HiLights carbon fiber flood lights and Mile Maker remote control
winch. And that new black Bestop with tinted windows means this one
looks just as good with its top on as it does off. The three-inch
body lift gives it the means stance. And it clears the way for the
tough flares and black 17-inch Robby Gordon wheels. Not only do we
love the way the rivets in the fenders match the wheel, but also if
you look closely, those Dick Cepek Crusher tires have skull and
crossbones in the side tread. Oh yeah, this one looks seriously
mean from all angles.
The interior gives you the best of both worlds. You can have a
convertible when you want, but an enclosed body with metal doors
and roll up windows means you can keep the weather out too. And
because the soft top and interior are both deep and black, this
Bronco never loses its menacing attitude. But aggression does not
lack in comfort. It starts with the Recaro leather bucket seats
that will keep you well planted no matter if you're on Main Street
or out on the trail. You get a grippy three-spoke sports steering
wheel, and beyond that, the Dakota Digital VX series gauges glow a
cool blue with all the vital info you want. And that large Kenwood
AM/FM/CD head unit with aux input is your gateway to thumpin' full
stereo system that cost $10K. This Bronco even has air
conditioning, so looking tough doesn't mean breaking a sweat.
Underneath the hood is a 351 cubic-inch V8 that's wilder than
anything the Ford factory ever gave this generation. It has been
rebuilt with performance parts like a Holley Avenger electronic
fuel injection, Edelbrock Performer intake, and MSD ignition. And
everyone will instantly know the extra power under the hood thanks
to the Magnaflow mufflers that feed the growling side pipes. But
more than just performance, this was also built with practicality
in mind. For example, the custom Ron Davis radiator is there to
make sure you stay cool no matter if you're in traffic with the A/C
running or climbing the steepest trail. And speaking of the
off-roading, the 4x4 chassis with sturdy Dana 44 axles and custom
8-point roll cage is the right package to take on your latest
adventure. But even if you just want this Bronco to be the toughest
machine on the streets, the power steering, front disc brakes, and
three-speed automatic transmission make this an easy cruiser
wherever you go.
