information.\r\n\r\nProduced between October 20, 1927 and August
31, 1931, the first model A was sold on December 2nd, 1927. The
legendary Ford assembly lines turned out an amazing 4,320,446 Model
As. Of those, 117,849 were Touring Phaetons. In 1929 alone, Ford
produced 1,715,100 Model As, including 49,818 Touring Phaetons.\r\n
\r\nThis car is powered by the original L-head 4-cylinder engine
with a displacement of just over 200 cubic inches. A 3-speed
sliding gear transmission with one reverse speed takes the car to a
top speed of a little over 60 mph with fuel economy over 40 MPG,
exceptional even by today\'s standards! Prices ran from 385 to 570
dollars depending on body style and options. This wonderful classic
carried its owners throughout New Jersey and, more recently,
Montana. This beautiful restoration has resided in a private
collection in Southern California since 2003.
