information. The legendary Humvee was conceived by A.M. General
during the mid-1980s in response to the U.S. military\'s
requirement for a High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle HMMWV
to replace its aging and varied vehicle fleet for combat and
support roles. Also known as the Hummer, it quickly earned its
stellar reputation in front-line service. While the battle-proven
Hummer was lauded by the military, it achieved cult status when
legendary bodybuilder, movie icon, and former California Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger became one of the first civilians to own one.
Recognizing a winner, General Motors purchased the Hummer name and
distribution rights and began selling the barely civilianized
Hummer H1 through select dealerships. The more refined Hummer H2
was at once longer, lighter, narrower, and taller than the H1 and
built from 2002 to 2009. While already very expensive and extremely
well equipped in showroom form, many H2s were customized and
personalized for their wealthy buyers, often including professional
sports stars and entertainment icons of the 2000s. Some were also
used as promotional vehicles, customized to showcase aftermarket
products at trade shows and high-profile public events. This
customized 2003 Hummer H2 custom convertible is a stunning
one-of-a-kind vehicle with all the extras, including custom paint
and interior, 20-inch wheels and tires, DVD player, tow package,
bikini top, step bars, taillight guards, brush guard, and much
more! The paint has been done to match the Mojo Miami Vice offshore
catamaran. Lots of hours and money to customize this H2 Hummer into
a cool custom convertible. Most recently, new tires and a new
battery were installed. While now out of production, the popularity
of Hummers - and the H2 in particular - has yet to diminish. It is
unlikely that one would again find a Hummer with this combination
