Vehicle Description

Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale June 2nd - 4th, 2017 at Russo and Steele\'s 5th Annual Newport Beach, California Auction. Please contact us for more information.\r\n\r\nProfessionally built by B&B Classics and SpeedKraft of Michigan, this superb 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod began life as an X11-code RS/SS coupe. Its transformation into super-sanitary street machine resulted in 3 out of 3 Best of Show Awards within the last year. It remains virtually stock at first glance, but a look beneath the surface reveals the best quality engineering throughout. Power comes from its GM Performance LS3 big-cam motor, dyno-tuned at Westech Performance to 550 hp. A Tremec TKO 600 manual 5-speed and 4.10-geared Moser nodular 9-inch rear end send the power to the pavement. Outstanding supporting equipment includes Detroit Speed Equipped DSE stainless headers and 3-inch custom SS exhaust, Auto Rad radiator and fans, and American-Autowire complete wiring. \r\n\r\nThe chassis is strengthened with DSE subframe connectors and underpinnings include DSE adjustable coilover front suspension, DSE quadra-link rear suspension, rack-and-pinion power steering, and Baer 6-piston disc brakes at all corners including 14-inch rotors. The fuel system includes a custom fuel cell, stainless lines, and fuel pump. \r\n\r\nThe custom interior was completed by Corona Concepts in Yorba Linda, California. Gabe incorporated Recaro racing seats with Corbeau racing harnesses, a removable Sparco steering wheel, Ididit tilt column, Racepac digital dash, Dynamat, and fabricated the custom fully-functional console, door and panels, A-pillars, package tray and headliner with LED lighting and full power windows. The finished trunk matches the interior with hidden yet easy access to the killer sound system, amp, and Optima battery with kill key and charger connection. Vintage Air heightens comfort. Lighting was upgraded to electric \'RS\' headlight covers, HID headlamps, Fesler LED front running lights, and LED sequential rear brake and turn lamps. Grip and stance are provided by custom-fitted 18-inch Forgeline wheels with BFG G-Force rubber, accommodated by DSE mini tubs. This car runs and drives beautifully. It is complete and has no issues, ready to be shown or driven. \r\n\r\nHighlights\r\n\r\nHugger Orange RS/SS X11 Code \r\nLS3/550 HP engine \r\nTKO 600 5-speed \r\nDetroit Speed headers 3 in SS exhaust \r\nCustom interior, Ididit steering column \r\nDetroit Speed subframe adjustable coilover rack and pinion steering \r\nDetroit Speed 4-link adjustable coilover suspension \r\nSubframe connectors \r\nMoser nodular 9 inch with 4.10 gears \r\nVintage Air with pulleys \r\n18-inch Forgeline wheels \r\n6-piston Baer brakes with 14-inch rotors
