information. \r\n\r\nThis 1965 Porsche 911 Coupe VIN 301814 is the
1814th 911 produced by Porsche on July 20, 1965, as per the
Certificate of Authenticity included with the vehicle. The vehicle
has been owned by one party since 1984 and during that time
traveled from its purchase near Reno, Nevada, to Alaska, to the
east coast, and then to its home for the past 30+ years in Park
City, Utah. During late 2015, a lengthy refurbishment/restoration
was completed. The car has always been Irish Green and has been
repainted in its original color.\r\n\r\nThe car has several
modifications, including an electric sunroof outwardly identical to
the factory sunroof installed in 1975, a 1967 160 hp 2.0-liter 911S
engine no. 960348 - installation date unknown, but prior to 1984;
rebuilt in 1986, 30,000 miles ago, leather seats from a circa-1987
911, and a deck lid from a 1967-1968 911. Wheels currently on the
car are 15-inch polished aluminum wheels from a mid-1960s Porsche
356 Outlaw. The original seats, original chrome wheels and hubcaps,
and numerous other original parts, including a broken steering
wheel, radio, etc., are included with the purchase of the vehicle.
\r\n \r\nRecognizing the cars sharply increased value due to being
a first-year 911, the 2015 work by Lundquist Restorations in Sandy,
Utah, essentially did everything that was needed. The battery box
support was replaced and the A-arms refitted. The fuel tank was
removed, cleaned out and resealed, and the Weber carburetors
rebuilt. A new rear deck panel was installed and two minor rust
areas below the rear windshield were repaired with new panels; the
left front fender was straightened, refitted and repainted; all
panels were professionally refitted and the entire paint job new in
2007. The car had been garaged and covered since the paint was cut,
buffed, and polished. Lundquist also installed an essentially new
interior including a new rear shelf panel and several other
miscellaneous parts. Immediately prior to the Lundquist work, the
carpet and headliner had been replaced. \r\n\r\nAccompanying the
car are a 3-ring binder with most of the receipts for work and
parts over the past 30+ years including the engine rebuild and
Lundquist work, plus the original seats, wheels, hubcaps, some
miscellaneous parts, and various manuals, parts lists, and historic
brochures collected by the owner over the years.\r\n\r\nPLEASE NOTE
