1960s A-body here at MotoeXotica Classic Cars, a 1967 Chevrolet
Chevelle SS Replica. This example was made in GM's Kansas City,
Kansas assembly plant as a standard hardtop sports coupe. This car,
finished in new Nantucket Blue, is in overall excellent condition,
as is the new trim. The new windows are clear and intact, as are
its lights. The Chevelle rolls new Nitto 55S tires, sized
235/45ZR17 in front and 275/40ZR18 in back, surrounded by newer
American Racing five-spoke wheels. The car's body panels are
straight and solid and the bumpers and grill are new. The engine
bay is very tidy and the battery appears new. Under that hood is a
396 CID big-block V-8 engine with Erson heads, an Edelbrock intake
manifold and it breathes through dual exhausts. Backing up the big
block is a four-speed manual transmission connected to a 12 bolt
rear end. Driver's convenience features include factory
air-conditioning, power steering and power brakes. Inside is a
newer blue vinyl interior. The front buckets and rear bench are in
great shape, as is the matching blue carpet, headliner and
instrument panel, complete with woodgrain accents. The factory
three-spoke steering wheel is in very good order and the inner door
panels; mirror glass, center console and shifter are all in good
order. The tachometer and the horn are currently inoperable
Completing the interior is a Sanyo AM/FM stereo with cassette deck.
The 1967 Chevelle models received a facelift. Large wraparound
taillamps went into a new rear end with standard backup lights.
"What you'll see inside," claimed the sales brochure for the 1967
Chevelle "will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go
driving." Front disc brakes were available on all models, and a new
dual master cylinder brake system incorporated a warning light.
Chevrolet also added 14" wheels and a three speed automatic
transmission to their line of transmissions.New safety equipment
became standard, including a collapsible steering column. Options
included Superlift air shock absorbers, Strato-ease headrests and
special instrumentation. Competition to this Chevrolet in 1967
included the Avanti II, Buick's GS 400 Sportscoupe, Dodge's Charger
with 383 CID V-8 and four-speed, Mercury's Cougar Marauder with
four-speed and Oldsmobile's 442 Sports Coupe with four-speed.
Documentation includes original owner's manual and assorted
documents. This car is currently located at our facility in St.
Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 92,906
miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage
exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR YOUTUBE
