Vehicle Description
It is a very unusual streetrod for several reasons: It has a 5
speed manual. Tremec TKO 600 toploader It has a FORD V8. 1971 Ford
460 with some modifications noted below. It has Independent Front
and Rear suspension. Front is Mustang II type with coil-over
shocks. Rear is Jaguar independent, with inboard braking, dual
coil-over shocks and 3.77 gears. Side pipes feature 3 inch exhaust
through custom headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Sounds fantastic!
It has a back seat, so you can bring your friends along on your
cruise. The engine has the complete Edelbrock Performer RPM setup.
Aluminum heads, custom valves, aluminum intake, titanium rods,
aluminum rockers, and a Holley Street Avenger 770 carburetor. I
also have the matching Edelbrock 800 carburetor if you prefer that.
According to Edelbrock, it should be around 500HP and 525 ft/lb of
torque. The car weighs around 2500 pounds. As you can imagine, this
car runs. It's fast. It runs great, has a nice ride, and looks
great. It gets compliments all the time. The body is fiberglass,
built on a custom frame. The body work was professionally done here
locally. The paint is PPG multi-layer Orange Glow over Silver Flake
paint. It's beautiful. The body lines are straight, the paint looks
outstanding, and the stance is right. Hand painted pinstripes were
done by Coop at the BTTF a few years ago. Of course it's been
stored indoors its whole life, and has NO rust or other damage of
any kind. It has about 1500 miles on it. Considering it's been on
the road for 8 years, you can tell I rarely drive it. The interior
is cloth, with heated seats from a Mustang GT, including the power
lumbar feature. It has a great stereo with JBL speakers, 8 inch
subwoofers and an alpine multi-channel amplifier. The sound system
rocks... if you really want to listen to it over the wonderful
sound of the engine. Car has Air Conditioning, power windows, power
door poppers, shaved door handles. This car is all custom. It looks
fantastic. I am selling because I just don't drive it very often.
For me, it was more about the project itself. I had a great time
building, and I love to drive it. But, I hate to see it sitting
here more often than not. It needs a new owner who will enjoy it as
I have. There are far more details I can share with you in person.
Trust me, if you are looking for something like this, you won't
find one more unique in this price range. The sale includes a ton
of documentation. For more info call Jordan at 612 290 9299 $46900
