1963 � Ford Galaxie 500 Two Door Hardtop Fastback. The "Sports
Hardtop or "Fastback" was introduced mid-year in 1963 and was the
first official � year model by Ford.
This Ford Galaxie 500 is finished in Corinthian White with
coordination red cloth and vinyl interior. Overall this is a very
special Galaxie as can be verified by the underside photographs
that still show factory primer. The underside and body panels are a
tribute to its Southern roots. This car appears to have had one
repaint approximately 10 years ago in the factory color.
This Fastback has been upgrade with a 428-cubic inch Cobra Jet
motor when dyno tested produced results over 440 horsepower. The
front braking system has also been upgraded providing excellent
stopping power.
