Okay, so you're going to have to bear with me here because I don't know jack about cars, other than what I can describe. We received this vehicle in partial payment for a debt - so the first good cash offer will probably get it.
This car has been completely stripped and redone. The paint job is several years old and needs some touch-up, but all of the stuff you see is new - I don't think the engine has 100 miles on it. We were told it is an "1835" dual carb VW engine, which you can find online for about $4,000. There's a massive stereo system, and the shifter and pedals have all been upgraded. The car has been garaged. The tonneau cover has some wear and a few small tears. We have the original convertible top, but as you an see it needs to be restored. I'll be taking it in to Les Schwab next week to get a complete evaluation on the brakes, tires, shocks, etc - as you can see everything is brand new, including the spare tire - but I'll update this listing as soon as I get more information.
