Vehicle Description
Offered here is a beautiful and timeless 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown
Victoria. 1955 marked the first year of the Fairlane series,
replacing the Crestline as Ford's premier full-sized model. The
Crown Victoria trim was one of six trims options offered for its
debut year, which was offered with lots of stainless steel trim and
intricate details in a 2-Door Hardtop Coupe.
This example has been a staple at West Michigan car shows for well
over a decade. The current owner's aren't able to enjoy it like
they used to so it's now time to pass it on to a new owner. The car
is finished in a two-tone Regency Purple and White paint scheme
with a custom louvered hood and custom power-release trunk. Both
original hood and original trunk do come with the car too. It is an
older restoration so the paint is starting to showing it's age;
however, the chrome and stainless surfaces are in excellent
condition. The interior also stands tall for its age.
The car is powered by the original U-Code 272ci/162hp 2bbl V8
engine mated to the three-on-the-tree manual transmission with
rear-wheel drive. The car starts, runs, and drive exceptionally
well with those wonderful Ford V8 acoustics. It is extremely clean
underneath as well. Be sure to check out all the photos and videos
on our website. Call or e-mail if interested, or to make a
reasonable offer. Thank you for looking.
