This 1967 Chevrolet Nova L79 recreation is for sale in our
Louisville KY showroom. The L79 was the big block killer of the mid
60's. Put in anything from a Corvette to a Malibu the L79 was a
workhorse with a power to weight ratio that rivals even todays
engines. The Chevy II was the real sleeper of the bunch however and
with less than 10, probably 6 or 7, being produced the 67 is really
the holy grail of Nova's. This recreation is exactly the way you
would have saw it in 1967. A painstaking build that took years just
to track down the parts the payoff was worth all of that work. The
body of the car is extremely straight and with the original deep
water blue going back on it the car is a stealthy eye catcher if
there is such a thing. A set of rally's finish off that period
correct look. The interior is what you would expect from such a
detailed car with the light blue vinyl covering practically
everything in sight. Of course, you want to have some creature
comfort so a factory AC was installed and is a nice touch. Now to
what makes this car what it is, the engine. Sourced through several
shops and people alike the time and effort put into this engine is
extraordinary. Everything from the block to the distributor is 100%
date code correct and works exactly as it should. Putting out a
power packed 325 HP this rat motor is an absolute blast to drive.
Matched up to a 4-speed transmission this mighty mouse of a motor
pulls hard from 2400 well into the 5000 mark exactly the way it was
designed. Not only does it run it like it should the looks are
there as well. The open element air cleaner with the chrome
scripted valve covers are the perfect match giving the engine bay a
little bit of show compared to all the go. If you have been looking
for a great car to take down to the local cruises this is a great
candidate and you never know you may pull up next to a big block
Chevelle and can show them that size isn't everything. Options on
this car include; AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior,
and Rally wheels with Radial tires. This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II
