Two owner 3.0 SC, It has lived its life in the dry car preserving climates of California and Idaho. This survivor has seen plenty of road pass under the chassis but has been well kept and serviced. This 911 can absolutely be driven and used as presented. However it does have rough paint and does have a some interior needs that could be cleaned up as well. Here is the quick run down on services,
'17 Removed heater and and hoses to get access to back of fuel distributor and vacuum hoses, Repaired vacuum leak, cleaned throttle body and air sensor plate, removed and cleaned idle adjustment screw.
'16 Replace clutch cable, Upper and lower valve cover gaskets, adjust valves, clutch and brake peal assembly new bushings,
'14 AC, Compressor, Rotary compressor, Speedometer,
'12 Tires, Rear shocks
'08 Roof cable
'03 Turn signal switch, roof cable, Calipers, New starter
Oil changes through out, Engine compression tested 5-3-17 150 dead even on all cylinders. Which is the way it drives, strong and smooth. Items to be aware of,
Paint - chips and older paint
Interior - driver seat needs restoration, dash cracked
Mechanical needs. Cruise control is broken, Front shocks could use replaced, Air conditioning does not work.
I'm not going to mess with the cruise control. I have the car scheduled to have the AC looked at. All the components are there but my guess is somebody hooked up the new compressor wrong and the freon leaked out. Front shocks I'm leaving alone as well.
