Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1924 Ford Model T for purchase. The
automobile that changed the world and the one that elementary
school children learn about, the Model T is the first affordable
vehicle that opened travel to the middle class. It was the result
of several innovations including the assembly line. By 1914, the
assembly process for the Model T only took 93 minutes. It was so
successful, Ford did not advertise between 1917 & 1923.
The Model T offered here features a wood body that was copied after
a Martin-Parry body. Martin-Parry was a company out of York,
Pennsylvania and also had a major branch in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The body shows well and was well built. The steel fenders, running
boards and hood are in great shape and present well also. The car
runs on Magneto as well. The headlights work also.
The model t came equipped with a 177 cubic inch 4 cylinder motor,
with 20 horsepower. This T will not get you anywhere fast but will
definitely be sure to draw attention everywhere you bring it. Don't
miss the opportunity to own this iconic piece of American
history.
