We loved this car. Bought it in 1996 to replace and Alpha Romeo Spyder. We had to put some money into it, not at first, but after we had it for a couple of years. First, a walnut dash. Then, a leather steering wheel. Then, 6 of 8 body panels with a bare metal paint job, color majenta, the original color. At the same time, we replaced the top with a soft convertible top. We installed black leather interior, CD Player, with removable face plate, and a burglar alarm. The light in the glove box and trunk works! The windshield washer works!, tIt has 77,000 original miles. Garaged for at least 21 years. Won 2nd place at a car show.
We have taken this car to Vancouver, Canada, Whidbey Island, Leavenworth, Cannon Beach, Oregon.. It is a great road car on winding roads and the mountains.
We don't drive it in the rain, for 21 years.
we want to get rid of it to buy a Lexus 430 SCI. had one once, and loved it. too old, at 59, to really enjoy this car (TR6) anymore.
so sad.
We replaced the wiring harness in 2015. New gel battery last year.
I think I washed it last year.....
