Panel! Back in the day, Ford built cars for the English market,
making this car known as the "English Ford Thames." This unique and
rare custom hot rod turns heads everywhere it goes! Under the hood
is a Ford 2.3L 4-cyl bored .030 over with 10:1 compressions & a
Holley 390 carburetor. The transmission is a Ford C4 with V8
clutches and shitfkit, with a 2500 stall converter. This Thames has
a boxed frame, Mustang II front cross member, tubular upper and
lower control arms. front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and
narrowed rear end with 3:55 gears. Painted in high quality "1979
Ford Bright Silver" and "1979 Brilliant Royal Purple" this car has
incredible presentation! All of the wood has been eliminated from
the body and replaced with tubular steel. This Thames Panel is
unique with its 1979 Ford roof and 1999 Chevy S10 box. Both the
firewall and front floorboards and completely handformed and
custom. The doors have been modified and stretched 5" and
accommodate custom Opera windows. Even the hood is custom and
handcrafted from fiberglass! The interior is completely custom
fabricated in Ultra Leather by Peter Udesen of Kamloops Upholstery,
and the power seats have been gratefully provided by a 1981 Ford
Thunderbird! The entire dash is custom and hand built and houses 6
PTI Tech gauges! This Thames is super comfortable to cruise around
in and you will not be disappointed rolling up at the next car show
