Vehicle Description
Black and chrome makes this vintage pickup look like the midnight
hero you've always wanted. But what's even better is that behind
the looks of this 1976 Ford F-100 is an amazing low-mileage, highly
documented survivor that has all the correct pieces - right down to
the its original V8 - and some terrific upgrades.
Highly detailed vintage pickups don't get much better than this.
The glossy black is usually a sign of a more modern paint
application. But this truck has been babied all of its low-mileage
life that we believe the deep, dark Raven Black is the same that as
applied at the factory over 40 years ago. And giving that paint the
best canvas is the super straight sheetmetal all around this
pickup. Topping all of this off is bright factory trim, mirror-like
chrome bumpers, and red pinstriping that highlights some of the
best parts of the F-100's design. The bed is free of any gouging,
which is another sign of an easy life. But its condition and bright
bed rails let you know this can still go on a Home Depot run. And
while those American Racing wheels look great, you know they were
not factory issue (but the originals do come with the sale.) It's
all part of this truck's attitude that shows off a near-impossible
level of factory correctness with some really nice upgrades (more
on that in a moment.)
The pinstripe on the outside was part of a preview on the inside.
And so this pickup shows is bold side with the red radiating off of
the door panels and seat. The factory-correct bench looks like a
time machine with Ford's hallmark Comfort-Weave inserts. This F-100
is exceptionally original from the two-spoke steering wheel, to the
square gauges, to the AM/FM stereo. These is even the original
factory optional sliding rear window. And we know you'll love
opening that and the side vent windows to let the cross-breeze fill
this time machine of a cab.
This truck was optioned with Ford's iconic 302 cubic-inch V8. And
the same motor that came from the factory is still under the hood
today - a truly impressive sight in the vintage truck world. But
because the 302 is such a legend for performance, they couldn't
resist upgrading with some nice features like an Edelbrock 650 CFM
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, MSD ignition,
and heat-wrapped headers that add even more power as they also
contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. It's a best of both
worlds package that offers originality and great performance. Power
steering, front disc brakes, and Ford's twin I-beam front
suspension are exactly what you want on a versatile truck. At the
corners, you'll find Goodyear Wrangler tires quite handy on the
streets. It's all backed by a sturdy three-speed automatic
transmission, so this classic still has got all the right moves to
be up for all the adventure that you are. That's why we know you
won't be able to resist adding to the ultra-low 23,450 miles on the
odometer.
Complete with all the right paperwork, including the original
windows sticker, bill of sale, owner's manual, and an inspection
report, this is an amazing survivor with modern appeal. A truck
like this may never come around again, so don't miss out. Call
