Vehicle Description
There a reason songs were written about the Deuce, and this awesome
coupe is further evidence that nothing is cooler than a '32 Ford
3-window. Equipped with a potent crate motor, overdrive, A/C, an
icy silver paint job, and beautiful interior, this is a show car
that can definitely walk the walk.
With just 99 miles on the clock, this is an extremely fresh build
that's pretty much as new throughout. This slick 3-window coupe is
a fiberglass body from Russ Nomore Streetrods, which means no
actual 1932 Fords were harmed in the construction, and the end
result is about ten times nicer than any original you're likely to
find. With a traditional rake, big-n-little tire combination, and
an open engine bay (if you so choose), it sure looks like a
slightly modern take on the traditional Ford hot rod. But then
again, that stunning show-quality silver paint job complete with
elegant blue pinstripes, well, that looks pretty slick. Execution
is first-class throughout, with laser-straight bodywork, excellent
panel gaps, and an attention to detail that makes truly great rods
stand out. Smoked glass all around adds to the high-tech look, as
do the LED taillights, and details like the door handles and simple
front spreader bar are traditional components that look right.
Inside, you'll be stunned by the gorgeous two-tone upholstery. A
perfect complement to the external paint scheme, the blue and gray
leather buckets offer ostrich skin inserts and the look is
extremely trick. There's a surprising amount of room in there, even
with the chopped top, and with all the modern conveniences, you
shouldn't be afraid to run this one cross-country. The steering
column is a beautiful polished tilt unit topped by a slick Grant GT
wheel, and the simple dashboard continues the high-tech silver
theme. A/C vents have been cleverly integrated into the overall
design, and the Dolphin gauges offer a retro font and delicate
pointers to tie it all together quite nicely. There's also a
powerful AM/FM/CD/iPod/Bluetooth stereo system overhead, plus a
gorgeous custom headliner and German square-weave carpets on the
floor. The trunk is well finished and big enough to swallow a
week's worth of luggage for two people, making this a real
no-compromises rod.
Wherever you're going, however, it won't take long to get there
thanks to a great-running 350 cubic inch Chevy crate motor up
front. Built for reliability and tuned for performance, it's topped
by an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and aluminum intake, and with finned
aluminum dress up it has horsepower written all over it. The block
is blue like the interior, the headers are chrome, and it offers
functionality in a way that only the best rods seem to master. A
big aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool, and all
the plumbing has been neatly routed since it's on display. The
suspension is traditional, with a dropped axle up front and a
4-link suspended Ford 9-inch full of 3.91 gears out back. In
between, there's a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission
and there's a disc brake at all four corners. A custom exhaust
system sounds suitably hot rod and you'll note that the
undercarriage was as beautifully finished as the bodywork.
Beautiful 15-inch Torque Thrusts wear 155/80/15 front and 255/70/15
rear BFG rubber.
This awesome rod has only 99 shakedown miles, so it's ready to
cruise this summer. Just be ready for the crowds that will surely
form. Call today!
