This 1964 Dodge Polara 2 doorhardtop with a 426 Max Wdge and cross
Ram-Air manifold with dual 4 barrel carburators. 4-speed
transmission with factory correct shift linkage. Rated as of of the
50th quickest muscle cars of its era. This is a meticulous nut and
bolt restoration that took the former owner and builder, a few
years to complete; locating the trim and various peices required to
restore the car to factory specs, it required extensive searching,
not to mention hundreds of hoursto make this tribute car authentic.
It has an 8 3/4" 3:25 rear defferintal. Every compontnt, including
the pwertrain, is either new or rebuilt.
All chrome was replated and the stainless steel trim strighttend
and buffed. The bright finish is very well applied. All of the
inteior has been completely done to the original pattern. The car
has two correct bucket seats, but included a factory split bench
seat. Upholstery matches and has been completed. The Polara also
has factory correct wheels and dog dish hubcaps, plus the radio and
heater delete add the finishing touch.
