To celebrate the 50 th Anniversary of the Cobra's introduction to the FIA racing world, Shelby American created 50 numbered cars to pay homage to the original record-setting race cars. Utilizing a feather light chassis with the healthy power of an American V8, these cars were regulars in the winner circle in the hands of famous driver's such as Bob Bondurant, Lew Spencer, Ken Miles, Phil Hill, and Dan Gurney. �The special limited-production continuation Cobras are called CSX 7000 use modern materials and build processes while retaining the looks of the classic racer. Starting with a hand-laid fiberglass shell, this example was painted in the stunning period correct Viking Blue accented by the Maroon FIA stripe and decals matching the original CSX 2301 FIA comp car. This roadsters simple interior is outfitted with beautiful black leather bucket seats and competition race harnesses. The dash is trimmed and leather equipped with Stewart Warner gauges and a wood rimmed steering wheel.
