5-WINDOW, FENTON DUAL INTAKE AND EXHAUST, T-5 TRANS,
CAMARO REAR END, AND MORE! This is sweet find; a five window with
tons of great upgrades! Take a look at the pictures, video, and
details below:
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Fairly straight body overall with
a few minor imperfections typicla for a driver quality truck. Paint
is older flat red on the main with an older gloss black on the
fenders. The look is consistent from bumper to bumper and the truck
is very presentable as a shop-style vehicle. Very minimal rust (see
video inspection)
- Interior: Uncut dash shows well with original
style gauges. New seat cover and carpet pad look sharp, and
headliner and door panels are newer, too.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good
condition. Windshield and rear glass and weatherstripping are
newer. Cab corner glass is original and in good condition but has
the old weatherstripping. Door windows roll up and down
smoothly.
- Trunk: Diamond plate bed is in good rust free
condition with fresh bedliner coating.
- Undercarriage: Rust free frame rails, uncut
and original frame. Minor rust spots in the cab corners (see
video)
- Wheels/Tires: American Racing wheels with
newer tires look sharp. 5-lug pattern from upgraded front spindles
and Camaro rear end.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: Period correct 235 engine has been
rebuilt with Fenton dual intake and true dual carberators. The
motor starts easily and runs strong. A new T-5 manual transmission
has been installed and shifts through all of the gears easily. The
5 speed manual and Camaro rear-end allow for strong get-up and go,
and easy high speed cruising.
- Lights/Electrical: Everything electrical works
properly including original gauges, dash lights, headlights,
brakes, and turn signals. Even the original heater fan tuns
on!
- Brakes: Brakes are original style drums and
stop straight and good.
