Overview:  

Here is an absolutely beautiful 1962 Pontiac Tempest Le Mans convertible. This is a gorgeous car that has been fully restored. It is a an original black plate California car that was sold new in San Diego and spent its whole life there and in Newport Beach and Palm Springs. The car is completely rust free and has all its original sheet metal. It is a very rare and unique car with its original, optional slant 4-cylinder engine with a 4bbl carb and factory 4-Speed on the floor. The car was restored in the 1990's and received many awards at Pontiac shows for the quality of the restoration. It also has a ton of original paperwork, which includes its original owners manual, dealer protection plan, convertible top manual, accessory guide, owner service policy and seat belt tags. It runs and drives great and ready to enjoy!

Exterior:  

The car looks amazing with an excellent fit and finish. The body is straight as an arrow and completely rust free. The paint finish is beautiful and done in its original color of Cameo Ivory. The paint was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. All the chrome on the car was redone and looks amazing. It is has like new white convertible top and red top boot. It is sitting on its original optional 15? wheels with nice factory hubcaps and like new wide white wall tires! 

Interior:  

The red interior was all redone and factory correct. The dash was all redone and looks amazing. Everything works in the car except for the clock. The original AM radio was restored and rebuilt with all upgraded new internals, so it is now a great sounding AM-FM radio that looks 100% original. Inside the trunk was also restored and looks like new with correct spare, mat and jack. 

Mechanically:  

The car runs and drives beautifully. It is tight and smooth with no issues at all. The original, high performance slant 4 cyl engine purrs like a kitten. Everything was rebuilt during the restoration including the engine and transaxle. The engine compartment is all stock and detailed to show condition. This car is ready to drive and enjoy!!
