The Series 3 is last of the important Jaguar E-Type lineage. The Jaguar factory decided to install a 5.3 Liter V-12 engine producing a claimed 272bhp which was developed for the 24 hours of Le Mans Jaguar Works race team making this both a powerful and reliable engine for the road. This particular XKE comes with the three main options available: Automatic Transmission, Air-Conditioning, and Wire wheels.
This XKE roadster is understood to have been in one long term caring ownership from new. Upon inspection, it is a testament to the attention and care of its previous owner, this XKE is excellent in every way and not the norm. It is extremely rare to find an XKE in this condition without its being fully restored.
We have enjoyed driving this particular XKE for a recent 50 mile road test and can confirm having enjoyed it both on the highway and around town with the air conditioning blowing well and cold!, this XKE Roadster is without fault and has zero disappointments.
Having recently been serviced throughout, she is a turn-key car ready for summer enjoyment! We welcome inspections and trades, but most importantly she deserves a good and proper enthusiast home!!
