Vehicle Description
1955 Ford Crown Victoria For Sale-Frame Off Restored, Loaded,
Multiple Show Winner LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1955
Ford Crown Victoria Fairlane. In 1955 Ford introduced a brand-new
body design to compete with the popular Tri-5 Chevys. The
top-of-line Crown Victoria trim model featured a chrome "tiara"
traversing its svelte roofline which was a instant hit. To power
Ford's new Fairlane the "Mileage Maker" straight 6 was increased to
223 cubic inchesto produce 120hp and the new optional 272 cubic
inch Y-block V8 which produced 162hp. Also, new for the 1955 model
year was the Panoramic windshield, Seat Belts, and the highly rare
Air- Conditioning option. This 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria
was built in San Jose, CA and is loaded with options some of which
include; Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power
Windows, Power Seats, Ford-O-Matic Transmission, Westinghouse
bumper mounted driving lights, Fender Skirts, Stainless Wire Wheel
Covers, and AM Radio. Previously part of a very prominent
collection, this exceptional example was restored prior to its
Concours debut in 2009. To ensure this would be one the finest
Crown Victoria's in the world, the car was frame off nut and bolt
restored with an extremely high level of detail including
exceptional panel fit, engine compartment with correct wiring and
proper factory stamps and tags. It was finished in a show quality
salmon- hued Buckskin Brown and Snowshoe White paint scheme that
has been wet sanded and polished and complemented by the matching
interior and mirror-like chrome accents. Since the restoration, the
Crown Victoria has been driven less than 500 miles mostly on test
drives and at shows. It was displayed at the Meadow Brook Concours
d'Elegance in 2009, and at the prestigious 2010 Antique and Classic
Car Club of Canada scoring 99 points. This car is the pinnacle of
1950's automotive styling and a great example to add to your
collection. Additional Details: 1955 FORD CROWN VICTORIA -
