Camper Bus Deluxe Pop-up. The Type 2 VW Vans remain an iconic
historic figure today. The Westfalia-Werke Van Conversion Company
converted the Type 2 VW Vans in to these awesome campers.
Volkswagen described the Campmobile as "having a cottage that goes
anywhere you want to go". These icons are still nostalgic head
turners today with a lot of fans whenever they head down the road
or pull in to a campground.
This 1979 Volkswagen Westfalia has been completely restored and
ready to drive away. It's the last year of this body style and the
most desirable layout with the full pop top, passenger swivel seat,
and working sink, stove, and fridge. The seats are in great shape
and it was also given new curtains to match the seats. It spent
much of its life in California and is a very solid example due to
this. It starts up great and has an almost instant response when
the accelerator is pressed. This bus runs, drives and handles as it
should. This bus is equipped with air conditioning components. The
cabinetry is in very nice shape as well. There is a spare tire
mounted on the front with a cover. The chrome hubcaps are in great
condition.
The prices of these VW's is only going to continue to go up and one
in this condition, this is a very sound investment. Pop the top of
the camper, pack a cooler, and go make some memories with your
friends or family. Life is too short to drive a boring vehicle and
never experience what this awesome world has to offer!
