know that the Willys Jeep Station Wagon was the first mass-market
all-steel station wagon designed and built as a passenger vehicle?
This one has had a number of upgrades to improve the overall
driving experience from that of a stock Wagon. Included in these
upgrades is a stout 350 CID Chevrolet V8 engine that was rebuilt by
Jasper Engine & Transmission about 8-10,000 miles ago. This engine
has an extremely long life ahead of it. It is mated to a smooth
shifting 400 automatic transmission which has also been rebuilt at
the same time as the engine. If you take a look at the front and
rear end of the vehicle you will notice that it has been adapted
from a Toyota Land Cruiser to enhance the capabilities of the
station wagon. The paint has been redone in a maroon/white combo
and the interior was finished in maroon/brown vinyl. Together they
look beautiful. The cabin is kept cool with a fully functioning air
conditioning system for those hot summer days. If you had one of
these back in 1962 you might remember songs like I Can't Stop
Loving You by Ray Charles playing through the radio for the first
time. This Willys will play your favorite radio stations on it's
AM/FM radio for a more entertaining experience. Other convenient
features include power steering to help you maneuver this ultra
capable machine. You will also find power windows, seat belts, a
tilt steering wheel and quality radial tires. This really is a
fantastic example of one of the most iconic vehicles in American
