1987 Mercedes Benz 560 SL. 5.6L V8, automatic transmission, 71,980 miles. Locally owned and garaged all its life. Purchased and serviced at Sun Motor Cars, the local Mercedes dealership. The paint shows very well. All the vin tags are still present on the sheet metal. Nice straight body with no rust issues.
The interior is all original as well and is in great condition. No cracks on the dash or seats. Original Becker radio still works fine. The chrome and glass are very nice. The convertible top was just replaced with a quality Robins top. The hard top is in excellent condition and comes with a dolly for storage.
All the books, touch up paint, jack and first aid kit are present. The car runs and drives excellent with no excuses. A PA state inspection was just completed on the vehicle and it passed with no issues. The SL market is on fire and this an excellent original example.
