We are pleased to offer for sale in our Atlanta showroom this
unique 1969 Corvair Monza Convertible. Most see the Corvair as a
small inexpensive economy car but few recognize how far ahead of
its time the vehicle truly was. Utilizing a lightweight, fuel
efficient air-cooled six cylinder engine located in the rear
combined with independent rear suspension and almost perfect
balance made this car nimble and fun. No wonder it was nicknamed
the "Poor man's Porche'"! This particular Corvair is an absolute
gem, having undergone a complete resto-mod and is very appealing to
more than just the typical Corvair fanatic. The stock 164CI Flat 6
has been upgraded with the Ted Brown Electronic Fuel Injection
System including the program-on-the-fly module. The 17" Retro
wheels and Nexen tires combined with 4 wheel disc brakes give this
baby an awesome look and straight-line stopping power. The custom
interior is complete with shaved bucket seats, two-tone vinyl &
cloth upholstery, Speedhut gauge package featuring GPS speedometer,
Grant steering wheel and custom-built center console with double
din AM/FM/SiriusXM/CD/USB Stereo. The trunk is completely detailed
and features a beautiful chrome flat-top Corvette master cylinder.
The 2 speed Powerglide automatic transmission means that you can
simply drop it into drive and easily cruise to your destination
whether it's to dinner or the local car show. The Aztec Bronze
paint is simply stunning, especially with the contrasting interior
colors. The manual new cloth top is a breeze to put up and down.
Almost every part of this car has been upgraded or replaced
including all new wiring and all new suspension. The VIN says that
it is one of the last Corvairs ever made, so now is your chance to
own a part of automotive history. The only thing missing is you in
the driver's seat! To view the car in greater detail, including
