Offered here for your consideration is a 1939 Packard Super 8 Model 1703 4-Door Touring Sedan. (The owner believes the car is a 1700 series. The numbers 170, are listed on the valid California registration). A quick search reveals that only 3,962 touring sedans were manufactured in 1939. This vehicle is currently not running and will need attention. Stainless trim, chrome and badges are intact. Dual side-mounts really set the car off nicely as does the graceful hood ornament. The elegant interior upholstery is overall in very good condition. The dash gauge cluster also includes a radio, heater and clock. The entire dash and door moldings are fauxed and wood-grained. The trunk compartment appears to be very solid. This example would make a prime candidate for a complete restoration or perhaps with a little TLC could be brought back mechanically to running condition.
