This 1951 Ford F1 was built in Windsor, Ontario with a 239-100 HP flat head V-8. The original flathead was completely re-built as part of the 2010 total restoration. It has a 3 speed manual transmission with three on the tree.
This vehicle was taken down to the frame and restored in 2010. The frame was sand blasted and repainted. The majority of parts were replaced with original designed parts where possible. It was re-painted red with cherry black fenders. The interior seat was re-upholstered in black .
It currently has 1573 miles since the restoration.
The electrical system re-built and was maintained as the original 6 volt positive ground system. All 4 metal fenders and the two metal running boards were replaced with fiberglass fenders and fiberglass running boards.
The truck has always been stored indoors during all seasons and has been well maintained.
