For Sale at Auction: 1971 Plymouth Road Runner in branson, Missouri

Vehicle Description

This 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner big-block race car was built for and screen-used in the 2005 movie "The Dukes of Hazzard" starring Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott. In the movie, it was the #33 Direct Connection Mopar Rally Car used in scenes racing against the General Lee. It features a full movie treatment including paint, graphics, full roll cage, racing seats, Hurst automatic shifter, side-exhaust and film production 'markings' showing that it is car number 113 on the movie inventory sheet or keylist. After the film wrapped it was obtained, along with several other cars used in the movie, by Randy Holden, editor of Mopar Collector's Guide Magazine. The last owner spent over $11,000 (receipts included) totally updating and rebuilding it mechanically while leaving it esthetically the same as it was in the film. He licensed it and drove it on the weekends. Accompanied by a clear Missouri title, $11,546 in receipts from 2015, and a copy of the "Dukes of Hazzard" picture car keylist showing this car as inventory for the movie.
