2003 Porsche 911 Carrera LS3 v8 Conversion in Fredericksburg, Texas
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 18th year in the
classic and muscle car business. When you've been in business for
as long as we have, there is a tendency to believe that you have
seen it all. Well, none of us has ever seen anything like this 2003
Porsche! Originally equipped with all-wheel-drive and a 3.6L six
cylinder engine, this Speed Yellow missile now sports an LS3 with a
GM performance cam powering the rear wheels. Careful examination of
the photographs and/or the car itself will show that this is NOT a
standard engine swap, but rather a carefully engineered work of
art. A fine example of this attention to detail is the beautiful
installation of the hydraulic pump for the power steering. With the
extra torque provided by the hot LS3, the owner opted for a taller
final drive ratio of 3.00:1. Porsche had no matching ratio for the
front differential, so the AWD was removed and the hydraulic pump
was installed in the space provided. The workmanship is
outstanding. We will be adding a better description soon. However
if you are interested in this vehicle please get in contact with us
so we can answer any other questions you may have. Street Dreams is
a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
