In the world of American muscle cars nothing is more iconic than
the late 60s Mustangs and late 60s Camaro. Take a poll of everyones
favorite muscle car and the 69 Camaro is guaranteed to be on the
list. These cars had it all and you know they were popular since
40+ years later Chevrolet decided to make a retro modern muscle car
based on the 69 Camaro. This 69 is a true Z28 and a really solid
car that is entirely rust free. It is painted in a Lemans Blue with
White racing stripes which look perfect on a car like this. All of
the factory chrome, stainless, and emblems are in place with a
beautiful shine and no pitting. The car has the cowl induction hood
in place along with real spoiler which accent the stock body lines
perfectly and creates a great side profile. The car rolls around on
original Rally wheels with BF Goodrich tires.
Powering the car is the numbers matching 302 solid lifter V8 motor
paired with a factory 4 speed manual transmission. The block and
heads are painted Chevrolet Orange and it is topped with finned
valve covers and the stock style Black air cleaner. Power steering
and power brakes are also in place which are functioning
properly.
The interior has the factory style appearance and is done in White
upholstery with Black carpets and a Black dash. The dash has the
factory appearance with all of the stock style knobs, gauges and
switches which work with no issues. The original center console
runs between the bucket seats and houses additional storage space,
the factory auxiliary gauges and a Hurst shifter. The trunk of the
car houses the original jack and is painted in black and topped
with a houndstooth trunk mat.
Camaros have always been among the most popular muscle cars and
that popularity shows no sign of going away anytime soon.
