Car was owned by a California owner all its life.  I brought it out to Chicago for resto-mod in 2013.  Car has NEVER seen rain/snow in Chicago.  Such an absolute pleasure to drive and tons of thumbs up and admirers during each drive.

• Interior is overall in 7/10 condition. Dash is without ANY cracks and seats have no rips or excessive wear (they were repaired a few years ago).
• SOLID Floorboards, SOLID Frame Rails, SOLID Spare Tire Well.

MINOR FLAWS:

I like to give with anything I sell because that’s how I’d like people to treat me. This way things are not presented inaccurately and no one wastes any time.

• Stereo system needs to be rewired. I didn’t like the wiring of the previous owner (creative wiring?) so I had Ben Thongsai take the wiring apart and loop it behind the radio. The components are there and my plan was to get them re-wired by someone who knows what they’re doing w/ stereo equipment, but never got to it.
• Second gear can be a little hesitant when car is cold. Speaking with Ben Thongsai (the Guru for BMW 2002s), he said it’s not a big deal and to just enjoy the car since it’s very rare that it does that. He said to try different transmission oils if it really bugs me. So far, it hasn’t bugged me at all because the car is usually warm when I drive it
