1986 BMW 325ES. This is a factory ES car (original front
spoiler, rear decklid wing, limited slip differential, rear view
mirror with map lights, sport seats, M steering wheel, Bilstien
sport suspension, etc).
Here is a list of what I have done in the last few months (that I
can remember):
New genuine Sachs/Boge German clutch kit
New windshield
New crank position sensors
New intake air boot
New fan clutch
New belts
New starter
New coolant
Oil and filter
New transmission fluid
New Bosch wipers
Front seats refinished
New/bleed brake fluid
Valve adjustment
New air filter
New spark plugs
New BMW wheel emblems
New front and rear BMW roundel emblems (not shown in pics, on
order)
New navy blue mats (not shown in pics, on order)
New BMW shifter bushings, knob and boot
The starts, runs and drives well. The paint appears to be all
original. Being a 30+ year old car it has its nicks here and there,
but overall it's a very nice/presentable piece. It's the quietest
m20 engine I have ever heard, no valve or other ill sounds. Has
near full tread Pirelli tires on factory BBS wheels. Even retains a
genuine BMW sunroof air deflector and complete tool kit, now that's
classic 80's!
It is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to find these cars unmolested these days.
Many have been engine swapped, lowered, shift kits, bla bla.
