Vehicle Description
The exterior design of the 1963 Starfire differed slightly from the
'62 model year. The car's design became a little simpler and
flatter on the sides of the vehicle, the roofline very closely
resembled the Pontiac Grand Prix of the same model year. The
Starfire we offer for sale is a nice example of a survivor
Starfire. Well optioned for the day, this Starfire left the factory
with such options as Safety Sentinel, center console with Tach,
power driver's seat, swing away steering wheel.
The engine in this car is a Ultra High Compression 394ci V8 mated
to a 3-speed Automatic transmission.
Many great interior options were installed on this Starfire before
it left the factory; Safety Sentinel which is a speed warning, tilt
away steering wheel, center console with tach, DeLuxe Radio,
defroster, power driver's seat, and rear window defroster. The
seats are in very good condition, with only the driver's seat
showing two small tears. The headliner is sagging right near the
rear window, and lower door panel trim is worn.
The exterior of the vehicle is in good condition - the car was
fully repainted at some point quite some time ago, the paint shows
some age in that there is paint bubbling and cracking on the roof
and a spot on the passenger's side rear fender. Trim is all present
and in very good condition, chrome bumpers are faded in a few
areas, but show a very small amount of rust on the front bumper
(See Pics).
This car is ready to be enjoyed as is, it's a comfy cruiser!
