The year is 1969, Led Zeppelin releases self-titled debut album,
and Richard M. Nixon is inaugurated as the 37th president of the
United States. While listening to the radio in this beautiful black
on black beauty you will notice that everything in this 1969
Chevrolet Chevelle is in working order. It has had a full frame off
restoration. The engine is a 396 CID / 350HP bored .030 over (402
CID), breathing thru an Edelbrock manifold topped with a Edelbrock
750 CFM carb. It is backed by a Muncie 4 speed (M22) with a Hurst
shifter. Exhaust is pushed thru the Ceramic coated "shorty" headers
thru Stainless steel mufflers. All this power is pushed thru the 12
bolt rear end with 3.55:1 Posi gearing. The Frame off restoration
consisted of replacing all the floor sheet metal from the rear
bumper to the firewall, inner and outer fender wells, rockers and
quarters. Re chromed bumpers, New grill, hood, stainless steel
brake lines. New springs and shocks, All new interior as well.
