a low mileage, numbers matching original. It is a three-owner car.
This Ford has been in good hands since new. Ford made 1,722 LX/GT
convertibles in 9L Oxford white. Even with those production
numbers, the factory tan interior and EFI 5.0 with a 3-speed
automatic with OD transmission make this car a bit of an oddity
compared to the majority of Mustang GTs produced with either a red
or grey interior and a factory 4 speed manual. The car is factory
equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power
locks, power convertible top, power fuel door release, power trunk
opener, and premium AM/FM Stereo w/cassette. It also has factory
bucket seats with the rare halo headrests and center console with a
driver information center. This Mustang has been repainted in
Oxford White using R-M Diamont� Basecoat / Clearcoat System. R-M
Diamont is a complete coatings system of coordinated products. It
has earned widespread popularity for its superior appearance, and
durability. The finish is excellent. The hood accent is painted on
in black RM Diamont base and is not just a decal! The car has been
restored. Here are some of the items that were put on or serviced
during the resto process: New front brake linings, hoses, rotors &
grease seals, rear shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders. The pinion
seal was replaced. New upper and lower radiator hoses, heater core
hose & thermostat. Valve & timing cover gaskets were just replaced.
Full tune up-air & fuel filters, 8 spark plugs, premium wire set,
rotor, cap & pcv valve. The distributor was rebuilt with new
Motorcraft pickup/stator and TFI module. The transmission was
serviced with a new pan gasket, filter and Mercon fluid. The A/C
system was retrofitted to R-134a. New O rings and compressor oil.
New alternator, battery cables and ends. All 4 Headlamp bulbs were
replaced to make the front end look new! The car has Original
Equipment Marshall driving lights with the correct protective
covers. This Mustang GT sounds great threw a new Flowmaster
American Thunder exhaust system w/ stainless pipes. To view this
