that were replaced. 1979 is the last year the Corvette featured the
sleek lines that made C-3s famous. A standout feature on this
vehicle is the optional L-82 engine rated at 225 horsepower, thanks
to a low-restriction muffler and more importantly, a 4-speed manual
transmission! 1979 was the final year that a manual gearbox could
be ordered with this engine, so that makes this car pretty special.
