Norfolk, Virginia - 1979 Datsun, 280ZX, 5 speed & runs like a CHAMP! 130k miles and the PERFECT car for someone that wishes to tinker with a classic car that needs a little bit love and yet, still dependable with transportation. Techncally, we should have this car listed at $6-$7k+ But it is time to sell her, hence the $5,000 asking price with HOPES that someone that knows what they are doing, IE restorations & mechanically inclined; bring her to her full potentials of a $10k++ car..., she is ready for this and worth too, Very dependable car for the past 5yrs.
We are not mechanically inclined and wish to see her go to someone that knows how to restore ~ The radio, back wipers and A/C do not work(Feel cold air, blower issue). She also needs stabilize bushings & tension Rod bushings, the clear coat is pealing off, some minor weathering conditions and she is worth sheltering & fixing up. There is minimal rust, solid frame, minor repairs w/the understide which is COMMOM with this car or any car that was made in 1979. Everything else works on this car including the electric mirrors and doors, orginial Jack and we all documents of maintaining, orginial 1979 Brochure and noting tires are in excellent condition too.
Again, runs like a champ and was used daily but now, She sits in the driveway under a car cover awaiting someone to come along and restore to her full potentials. I attached a video sharing the running engine, power windows and power mirrors too.
