Vehicle Description
This Mercedes was once owned by American actress, singer, dancer,
businesswoman and diplomat Shirley Temple Black, who was most
notable as Hollywood's top box-office star from 1935 to 1938. She
bought this vehicle new in Southern California, where she lived her
entire life. She was born April 23, 1928, and passed away at her
Woodside, CA, home in February 2014. This car comes with copies of
the original title in Shirley's name along with copies of signed
documentation from the original purchase of the vehicle. A fabulous
car, it has 33,000 actual miles (mileage not indicated on the
title). It runs and drives great and looks like new inside and out.
It's equipped with a 4.0-liter engine with automatic transmission.
As an adult, Shirley Temple Black was named United States
ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia and also served as Chief of
Protocol of the United States. This car also comes with the
diplomat flags for the car, used when it was driven in and out of
the embassy and on official business.
