The 993 Turbo coup� was released in 1995. It featured new twin
turbochargers with air-to-air intercoolers, electronic engine
management, redesigned cylinder heads and other modified engine
internals. The 993 Turbo was the first 911 Turbo with all-wheel
drive, finally delivering Porsche 959 performance from a production
car. The Turbo's bodywork differs with widened rear wheel,
redesigned front and rear bumper moldings, and a fixed rear wing
which houses the intercoolers. New OBDll diagnostics system, 18"
alloy wheels with weight-reducing hollow spokes along with larger
brakes as standard equipment. All turbos since have had
water-cooled heads.
This spectacular 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo Coupe #5515 is one of 1,357
993 Turbos produced for this model year production. One of 78 993
Twin Turbos built for first run of initial production (7/95). This
motorcar features the bulletproof and acclaimed Porsche 3.6 liter
Twin Turbo M64/60 engine, using two KKK K16 turbos and producing an
outstanding 402-hp. Ordered new with options including: CD Storage
behind Brake Lever (X53), Auto Speed Control (454), Sun/Moonroof
(650) and CD radio (694, Alpine 7807). Extended Full Leather
including: upper and lower roll, door panels, lower console and
rear side panels. Rear wiper option. Manufactured within the
Exclusive Programme (09991) and presented in its factory Polar
Silver Paint (L92M) a Porsche Special Wish Paint to sample color
($3,800 value). Classic Grey Interior (TF) with upgraded X Package
Aluminum Shifter and Parking Brake.
This 993 Turbo #5515 comes complete with original owner's manual,
service books, leather pouch, tool roll with tools, jack, and
available service records. Purchase by its most recent owner in
2003, this Turbo received a recent major service performed in 2016
at 32,000-miles...less than 209-miles ago. This service included
new Michelin Sport Tires and various mechanical repairs totaling
