Best known for high-horsepower Chevrolets, Lingenfelter of Decatur, IN, has been tuning cars for over 40 years since being founded by NHRA driver John Lingenfelter. They have developed performance packages for everything from Suburbans to Camaros and even Dodge Vipers, but perhaps the most well-known cars they build are Corvettes. This particular 2007 Corvette started off as a well-equipped 3LT model with a 6-speed automatic transmission and the Z51 performance package. The car was sent brand-new to Lingenfelter, where it received multiple performance upgrades. At approximately 27,000 miles, the old engine was removed and replaced with a 7.0-liter LS7 that had been given the treatment of performance upgrades like heads, cam, headers, exhaust, built rear end, mini tubs, Koni shocks, roll cage, etc. After everything was said and done, the car puts approximately 580hp to the rear wheels.
With all these performance upgrades to turn this car into a serious track machine, comfort features like air conditioning, power windows and navigation have still been maintained, allowing this car to be drivable on the street. It has a clean vehicle history report and has been an Arizona car since brand-new. All books, manuals and navigation DVDs are included, as well as a framed, original Window Sticker.
With plenty of power on tap and all the modern conveniences still available, this Corvette is ready for anything from a weekend trip to track day.
